DaFeet by End Times Art now at Gogue Art and Tattoo


You can know get your very own DaFeet at Gogue Art and Tattoo in Grants Pass, Oregon.  There are currently six on display.  They are:

Moonbeam: A bantam Silkie and Araucana cross chicken foot with two bands of copper wire recycled from an electrical cord, the top tufted with white Silkie, Barred Rock and (one) purple parrot feathers.  Copper wire, recycled from an old motor, is hand twisted around a glittery opaque pink (plastic? resin?) bauble and then forms a spiral in front of the feathers.  More hand twisted copper wire wraps and spirals around the middle toe.  $50

Sam (aka Samantha) Is a rare six toe black Silkie bantam foot with recycled fencing wire wrapping and spiraling around the toes and the top of the foot, with a red glass bead and black Silkie, Australorp, and Road Island Red feathers to top it off.  The foot is lying on a bed of recycled chicken fencing, hand bent and twisted, adorned with copper wire, a bead, and two lengths of an old necklace.  $80
The Gilded Cage: Is a Barred Rock chicken foot with recycled chicken fencing encircling around the foot.  Recycled copper wire and pieces of “junk” jewelry adorn the cage wile the foot has a hand twisted copper wire and white glass bead ring around the middle toe and is topped with an old Avon rooster pin, black Silkie and Road Island Red chicken feathers.

Los Muertos: Is a Barred Rock chicken foot with two bands of thick copper wire with a thinner copper wire twisting around it as well as forming a ring around the middle toe and a head piece for a glass blown skull (by Chris Amezcua of Amezcua Glass Art, Eugene, OR) at the top of the foot.  Surrounding the skull are black Silkie, Road Island Red, Australorp, and Barred Rock chicken feathers and a red and purple parrot feather.   $95

Puttin’ on the Ritz:  A bantam Silkie and Araucana cross chicken foot, with five toes, is wrapped with recycled fencing wire and two curls coming down.  An old earring is centered at the top with black Silkie, Australorp, and Barred Rock feathers finished with a pigeon feather (found on a walk about).    $45

 

Babb’s: Is an Australorp chicken foot with two lengths of an old necklace draping from the top, one attaching to a ring made of recycled fencing wire on the middle toe.  Two beads of amber dangle from fencing wire that is twisted around the top and ends in a spiral.  The feathers are from white Silkie, Road Island Red, Australorp, and Barred Rock chickens.    $90
